Dr. Sean Maroney is fellowship trained, board certified Colon and Rectal Surgeon. He has extensive training and experience with the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, this platform allows for smaller incisions, a faster recovery time and a shorter hospital stay. Dr. Maroney also performs trans-anal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS) for rectal tumors. If we can find a cancer early, most of the time patients will not need chemotherapy or radiation and can move on with their lives relatively quickly with minimal pain. Dr. Sean Maroney strives to build a long-term relationship with his patients and let them know all of their treatment options.
