That's because you've successfully completed the Healthy Weight for Wellness Program at Marin General Hospital's Center for Integrative Health & Wellness.

Our Healthy Weight for Wellness Program is not just another “diet.” It’s a 12-week integrative lifestyle program designed to help you lose weight safely and effectively. You’ll learn a lot of new things, including how to set realistic goals, become more aware of your eating and exercise habits, listen to your body’s natural signs for hunger and satiety and better manage emotional, situational and other eating triggers.

  • It’s Personal – We know your weight is influenced by your mind, body and spirit. So our job is to partner with the “whole,” you to identify your strengths, motivations and resources needed for successful weight loss.
  • It’s Professional – Our program is led by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with advanced training and experience in weight management. Other experts and integrative health practitioners are also utilized.
  • It’s Proven – We incorporate the latest evidence-based weight loss strategies for making changes that can last a lifetime.

Choose Your Approach

We offer both individualized and small group programs, so you can choose the approach that works best for you. Both options include personalized meal planning guidance, body fat testing, accountability weigh-ins, plus daily and weekly inspiration, motivation and support. Join our small group program and create a strong support system to enhance your weight loss success.

  1. Individual Program – Private weekly sessions (in person and over the phone) for 12 weeks.
  2. Small Group Program (3-6 participants) – Includes 2 private in-person sessions and 10 weekly peer support sessions over 12 weeks.

Pamela Riggs, MS, RDN has more than 25 years’ experience in the field of nutrition, wellness and health promotion. Her areas of experience include: weight management, disease prevention, women’s health issues, digestive health, dietary supplements and sports nutrition.
