Classes for Patients
- Diabetes Prevention Class: The latest research from the American Diabetes Association (ADA) shows that with modest lifestyle changes, the onset of diabetes can often be delayed or even prevented. A physician’s referral is NOT required for this class, which educates individuals and their families about the benefits of regular exercise and healthy eating.
- Diabetes Self Management Education (DSME) Program: Our DSME program for people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes is recognized by the American Diabetes Association (ADA). Offered in both group and one-on-one settings, this program provides comprehensive diabetes education for mastering basic self-care skills and living well with diabetes.
