Of the 350 active and sustaining members of Marin General Hospital volunteers, there are 150 members in our Fundraising Branches. The first Branch was founded in 1959. The purpose of the Branches is to raise funds and to promote good relations between the community and the hospital. Together the Volunteers have raised over $3 million since 1950 to support patient care and to award scholarships to advance healthcare education.
