Opened in 1952, Marin General Hospital is a non-profit community medical center. The hospital is licensed for 235 acute care beds, offers full-service medical care to the public and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

- Physical Therapy
- Inpatient services every day of the week. Outpatient services are available weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. General rehabilitation in orthopedics and specialists in lymphedema and urinary incontinence.
- Radiation Therapy
- Offers radiation treatment therapy.
- Respiratory Care
- Twenty-four hour a day care for inpatients. Outpatient therapy available.

- Family centered care for patients with cancer, AIDS, or terminal illness.

- Six surgery suites, averaging 550 cases a month.
- Surgery Center of Marin
- The Surgery Center of Marin offers elective outpatient surgeries - cataract removal, arthroscopic surgeries, tonsillectomies and hernia repairs, and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures such as breast biopsies and endoscopies.
