Be sure to arrange for a designated driver to escort you on the day of your surgery. You may not go home alone in a taxi or on public transportation.

For your comfort and convenience, complementory valet parking is available on the day of surgery for Ambulatory Surgery patients at the East Lobby entrance. Ask a security officier for more information about this service.

What Happens When You Go Home?

Every patient is unique and every surgery is different, so you can expect to receive individualized care.

Your nurse will prepare you to continue your care in the comfort of your own home. If pain medication is prescribed, please take it on time as directed.

Instructions for home care will be provided. Be sure to follow those instructions when you are at home and consult with your physician if you have questions.
