Marin General Hospital Is Committed To Helping The Community

Provided Programs

|
Marin General Hospital provided $19,432,000 in support of 105 community programs and services in 2006. The majority of this spending was charity care and unreimbursed care.
MGH provided programs for the poor, elderly, infants, children and youth, the homeless and mentally ill. Other populations with severe health problems were also served, including persons with cancer, victims of sexual assault, and AIDS/HIV patients.

Operation Access

|
- Operation Access collaborates with surgeons, pathologists, radiologists and other medical professionals at Marin General Hospital to provide donated outpatient surgical care to uninsured people in our community. Operation Access is a network of 60 community clinics, 16 other participating hospitals, and over 300 medical volunteers serving the six county Bay area.
